About Echelon Home Security

How long have you been in business?

Echelon Home Security was established in 2012 as a division of Echelon Protective Services, a JRS Enterprises, LLC company.  Prior to 2012, we designed and installed home and office security systems for our existing clients we provided security consulting and protective services for.  Overall, the owners and management staff have more than 30 years combined experience in security, security consulting and alarm services.

What area(s) do you service?

We service the entire Denver Metro Area.  Our service area is from as far north as Longmont, as far south as Parker and from Golden to Aurora east to west.  We also service areas outside the Metro Area on a case by case basis.  Feel free to ask us!

Are you a Veteran Owned Small Business?

Yes.  Our owner and Executive Director is a former U.S. Marine that served during the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, as well as other conflicts prior to 9/11.

We are an Authorized Monitronics Dealer.  All our monitoring services are performed by them.

How much do your systems typically cost?

This is a hard question to answer.  The typical home security system can cost between $600 and $800, yet can be as high as $1,500.

 

The cost depends on several factors:

 

- Do you need a phone line or will cellular work?

 

- Do you want a basic home security system or fully interactive system?

 

- Do you want Home Automation Features?

 

- Would you like wireless cameras indoors or outdoors, or both?

 

- Do you have an existing system we are upgrading or adding equipment to?

About Our Installation Services

Do you do same day installation appointments?

If the schedule allows, yes.  However, in most cases, installation is scheduled 3-5 business days from when a client completes paperwork and purchases the installed system.

Does the Homeowner need to be home during the installation?

Yes, we request that the Homeowner or other 'responsible party' be home during the installation.  There are times that the Installer will need to ask questions about equipment placement or need access to other areas of the home.  Also, once the system is completely installed, the Installer will walk the Homeowner through the equipment and how to use the system.

About Our Service Department

Do you only service systems you install?

No.  We can service and maintain most any system.  There are instances where we are unable to help, such as:

 

- Current ADT Client (signed up within the last 36 months)

- Tenant, unless Homeowner (Landlord) gives permission

Do you offer Extended Service Plans?

Yes.  If you signed up with us as a new client, we offer an Extended Service Plan option at no additional cost to you.

About Our Promotions & Specials

What does "Promotions Dealer" mean?

We are a promotions dealer, meaning we are authorized to give select systems to qualifying homeowners for no equipment and installation costs.  There is typically a small one-time activation fee to set up the account for monitoring and requires a small, but vital, monthly monitoring fee.

 

How do I qualify for a free security system

Our free system promotions are to increase our presence and the presence of Monitronics around the Denver Metro Area.  Most Homeowners qualify, here's how:

 

- Must live in an area we are trying to increase our marketing footprint in.  We currently have over 1,100 neighborhoods and areas on our list.

 

- Must be a homeowner, no renters.

 

- We accept Single Family Homes, Condos, Townhomes & Duplexes

 

- Not looking to move within the next 13 months from date of install

 

- Qualify for monthly monitoring, approved credit, valid US bank account
